Nice. If people are actually going to start looking at the photos I snap with my cheapo cell phone, I might need to get a better cell phone!

I should also add that I work in higher education, so I put this concept map together with an eye towards applications to college and university teaching.

Re: Indexed by Jessica Hagy at VizThink ‘09

Nice site. The slideshow is primarily about the journey i'm on in Visual Thinking. Its only a few months old to me, but having read Dan Roam's Back of the Napkin, and attending Matt Balara's sketching workshop I'm really starting to see real value from using a visual language in meetings and conferences. I'm eagerly awaiting a copy of Ed Embersley's Make the World to help hone some of my childlike scribbles ;)

Re: [VizThinkU] Show Don’t Tell: Drawing & Design with Karl Gude

Mere looking at his works make me say awesome: a superb and powerful mind full of ideas. Great job by all of you in describing the development and benefits of visual thinking!! I live in Madison, and work with scientists and biotech figures who are often still at a loss to understand how images can be used to more effectively and efficiently convey their messages/discoveries/therapies; but once I can describe how it can make their lives easier, you see the light turn on in their eyes! :) Congratulations!

Re: VizThink & Visual Thinking in ‘Associations Now’ Magazine

Hi. It was great to read about how you developed the art for the article. I'd like to take you up on the offer to get a copy of the August issue. I want to share the visual thinking concept with them.

Thanks.

Re: VizThink & Visual Thinking in ‘Associations Now’ Magazine

Hi Manu,

I'm not sure.
